Regaining Your Child’s Interest Using Songs

Hello Families,

If you’re feeling like you’ve been home forever and are starting to go a little stir crazy it’s ok. Remember our kiddos are having feelings too. They might not always express them with their words and sometimes they might. When they are having a hard time and missing their friends missing having more of a routine and you are trying to do something with them remember we are all having some struggles and it’s going to get better. So what we would do at school in the burrow at times when we are transitioning and sometimes they get carried away and forget their listening ears or are not ready to move on to whatever we have planned next we get their attention back using songs. Like The Children are Sleeping, our jumping song, and a Burrow favorite for many years Willoughby Wallaby Woo. These are all great attention getters. You see after they’ve got some silliest out it helps them focus and be able to pay a little more attention to what’s next. Please give this one a try. 🙂
