A stimulating environment helps develop engaged learners, so our classroom environments and daily schedules reflect that philosophy.

We believe that the Environment is the Third Teacher, and that the space and materials support engagement and discovery. An Abeona House classroom is warm and homelike, with areas of intrigue and exploration that change in response to children’s interests. Our teachers create a positive atmosphere through play, dialogue, and relationship. Children make a unique contribution to the classroom, and it belongs to them. The teachers and children build the walls from the story of the classroom and the learning that happens there.
